Since this is a BETA release please feel free to report all bugs in the SoL
forum http://forum.sol-linux.com
Short Installation Notes:
-------------------------
1) Insert SoL 17.00 BETA CDROM and boot from it
2) If you have an IDE only system press [ENTER], else type installscsi and
press enter.
3) Follow the installation menu to install SoL 17.00 BETA. All menues have
instructions on how to use them. Please READ those instructions!
4) After the installation has finished reboot the system, remove the CDROM and
boot your new SoL 17.00 BETA system.
5) If you want to configure X11 login as root and type: ./ConfigureX11 . This
starts a tiny, guided configuration of X11 (experimental).

The m* install-systems are for systems with less than 128MB RAM
The *hm kernels are for >1GB systems!
-> Better boot-help screens with more information about boot-parameters
* SoL desktop 0.2
-> SoL 17.00 is compatible with SoL desktop 0.2
-> There will be a new desktop release after the final release of SoL 17.00
The final release SoL 17.00 will be out middle of September 2003.
